One of my favorite childhood memories was counting down the days until summer vacation. Hot summer nights, shooting stars, and fireflies made way for the magic of the roaring campfires and guitar sing-alongs. Hunting for the perfect “marshmallow stick” became a race for the kids, while the grown-ups rationed the chocolate and grahams secretly stashing some for themselves.
